Today Barb (right) flew in, and this time Mirlande got to come too. She finally got a visa. Haitian camp is this weekend and we are thrilled she got to make it. Lori picked them up at the airport, they went and had lunch and came over to visit. Mirlande had to see her 'Daddy' (what she calls Wayne). Johnny is coming in tonight at midnight. We will all be at the airport to greet him when he gets here.

This is little miss Katie. She just sat right at my feet almost all the time we were at the park. She kept telling me she was "shy" and she didn't want to play. Well, as we got closer to leaving she loosened up a bit. Lori was snapping pictures left and right of all the kids. When Katie saw her taking pictures she would hide. Lori started playing peek a boo behind a tree and she got into that. (Lori and Katie...hehehe) This was the result and i think it is priceless!!! Here is my beautiful granddaughter Brit, looking extremely bored. She had fun today, but I am sure she would rather had spent the day with friends at the mall or doing something "teenagey" .
(i just made up that word, but i am sure you know what i mean) LOL This morning we got up, got ready and met Lori and the girls in Noblesville. We went to a real nice park near Lori's home. The girls had so much fun. After a few hours of playing we headed off to Cicero and went to a pizza place. The girls loved that, and I did too. They were all so good.
We left there and I took the girls back to their house.
Anyone that knows me knows i stay up very late at night. Not tonight...I was in bed at 10:00. They wore me out, but i loved every minute of it.

Today I took Megan to get her hair cut for school. Later, I asked Aaron and Sharon to bring Katie and let the girls both spend the night. We had so much fun. They were perfect little angels, as usual!
They were excited cause I told them when they woke up the next morning we were going to meet Aunt Lori and the girls and go to the park.

This is our good-looking son, Aaron. He bought this bus and completely remodeled it, inside and out. Aaron, we are soooo very proud of you!!
It is so neat the way he can look at something not so good and see what it could be...
kind of how God looks at us, i imagine.

Aaron and Sharon were house hunting and PaPaw and I got to keep the girls. We all had so much fun. They came in looking beautiful in their red dresses.
Here are the little angels. Megan is 5 and Katie is 2. They wanted to go outside and look for 'Izzy' (a little bunny that has made his home under my hostas).
Megan is checking out the daisies. She is such a sweetheart.
Two pretty little flowers!!!
Here is Katie. Check out that beautiful smile.
She is so easy going and 'lovey'.
PaPaw and Nana love you girls sooooo much!!

We are praying that next 4th of July Madisyn will be home. Seems like we are getting so frustrated just waiting and waiting, but I know she will be here when she is supposed to be. The phone lines are down in Haiti right now and it has been so long since we talked to Madisyn.
We are getting anxious to go camping again. We are trying to spend as much time as we can with our kids and grandkids. We hope we will be able to camp with all of our kids and grandkids soon.

We just got home today from a 4 night camping trip with friends and family. We had a wonderful time. The weather turned out to be beautiful and fellowship was great. The grandkids made a b-line over to our camper as soon as they woke up in the mornings for a 'snack'. Glad i came prepared! lol
I wish my son and his family could have been there with us, but we are all planning another camping trip in a couple of weeks and I am already getting excited. We are praying Madisyn will get home before bad weather so we can introduce her to the 'joys of camping'. It's gonna be so much fun to watch her experience new things for the first time. I pray she's as excited as we are. The phonelines have been down for a few days in Haiti and we are beginning to have withdrawls. We want to hear her voice so bad. Wayne dials the number about every half hour to try and get through. He's even got them on speed dial now...hehehe
